Ecology of Caribbean Coral Reef Environments

A two week course designed to identify different types of coral reef habitats and other associated marine habitats in the Abaco Islands, Bahamas. Your experience will include:

  • Snorkeling and scuba diving in coral reef habitats
  • Coral reef ecology
  • Mangrove, seagrass and blue hole habitats
  • Species identification and community analysis
  • Fish behavior and life history
  • Hands-on underwater videography
