We are pleased to announce that Dr. Nasri Nesnas won the Kerry Bruce Clark Award for Excellence in Teaching. The recipient of this award is selected by the Faculty Senate in recognition for the faculty member’s dedication to student learning in the classroom and in research.

Each year, the Chemistry Department recognizes the excellent academic and research achievements of our students. This year, Mr. Daniel Schultz (Brown research group) received the Outstanding Undergraduate Student award. Ms. Nawodi Abeyrathna (Liao research group) and Mr. Qiuji Ye (Rokach research group) each received the Outstanding Graduate Student award. The Baum Chemistry award recognizes outstanding junior chemistry majors based on academic and research achievements. This year, the Baum award went to Elizabeth Stewart (Olson research group) and Ryan Wheat (Peverati research group).

Congratulations to all of our winners!
