Mrs. Blenis,

I just wanted to let you know that I am applying for a job with Harcourt Publishing Companies.  Things look good a far as getting hired and you might get a call regarding a refrence.  Harcourt is a school textbook publishing company - more commonly referred to as HBJ or Harcourt Brace Jovanovich.  I would be an associate math textbook editor for middle grades through high school. 

I am not sure how I feel about the profession of teaching right now. I know that I love to teach, but I'm not too sure about everything else that now goes along with it.  I would LOVE to move back to Melbourne.  In fact Scott and I looked out that way, but we cannot even come close to affording a house in the area.  He makes as much as I do and the need for his profession there is not great - he is a lead web programmer.

The good thing about this editing job is that I will still be in the educating realm, but I will have the opportunity to make more money and settle myself.
