The
Pledge
I pledge to continue to
demonstrate service to Florida Tech and to the community,
to sustain the highest degree of ethical conduct, to serve
as an exemplary peer role model, and to strive for better
scholarship. I will always promote positive attitudes toward
the field of education and will endeavor to enhance the quality
and efficiency of educational programs.
What
is FEA?
FEA is a professional organization designed to enhance Florida's
education programs by motivating top quality young people
to view the field of education as a possible career choice. Members
take seriously their responsibility to demonstrate service,
character, leadership and scholarship.
Service:
FEA is dedicated to the principle of service. Service
that fosters learning and promotes teaching. Members strive
to enhance the image of Florida Tech by extending services
and resources to other students and to the community.
Character:
Since educators value the worth and dignity
of every individual, FEA members exemplify the principles
of honesty, integrity, compassion, dependability and responsibility. They
strive to sustain the highest degree of ethical conduct.
Leadership:
To be a leader, one must have character, knowledge,
self-confidence, sensitivity, patience, and a positive attitude. FEA
members strive to be leaders within the community as well
as at Florida Tech.
Scholarship:
Scholarship is the goal toward which each student
is striving. To meet this goal, FEA members seek to develop
personal potential, reaching for knowledge and wisdom.
We
have a good time at Florida Tech. We take our course
load
seriously, but we also know how important it is to balance
study with a little fun. We invite you to browse
