Quarknet
QuarkNet is an educational program sponsored by the National Science Foundation whose aim is to support science education in schools by establishing a nation-wide science teacher network. It provides opportunities for school science teachers to learn firsthand about frontline physics research in universities, and establish mentor relationships between science teachers and physics professors at universities.

Florida Tech is a QuarkNet center which has held three annual workshops, one in 2002, two in 2003, one in 2004. We plan one this summer, June 13-17, 2005. If interested please contact Dr. Marcus Hohlmann (email or 674-8098)
